Job Summary: Due the organization's growth an immediate vacancy exists in the Buckhead area of Atlanta, Ga. reporting to the Director of HR within a privately-held, rapidly growing, national provider of staffing services with 8,000 employees across 50 states
Compensation Responsibilities: Designing & implementing a comprehensive base & incentive compensation strategy & structure to include:
· Updating job descriptions, conducting job evaluations, applying market rate data & recommending a salary range structure with internal & external equity
· Conducting job reclassification analyses, desk audits & organizational structure reviews
· Reviewing proposed salary increases & hiring rates to provide recommendations based on equity
· Analyzing data to recommend structure adjustments & provide costing for union wage negotiations
· Developing & implementing a corporate profit sharing program including budgets
· Developing & implementing an employee recognition program
· Ensuring compliance with applicable state & federal regulations
Benefits Responsibilities: Directing & planning the day-to-day operation of the group benefit program to include:
· Investigating new benefit programs to support employee retention
· Supervising & monitoring 3rd party benefit administrators
· Partnering with the HR Director & Manager of Employee Relations to develop & implement communication strategies to support open enrollment & new hire on-boarding
· Documenting & maintaining benefit administration procedures
· Providing customer service support to internal customers
· Develop communication tools to enhance employee understanding of the benefits offerings & preparing summary plan descriptions
· Ensuring compliance with applicable state & federal regulations & assuring timeliness & accuracy of required fillings
Education, Experience & Competency Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of five years related compensation experience
- Knowledge of state/federal regulations applicable to compensation & employee benefits
· - Ability to interpret data, detect trends, draw conclusions & formulate recommendations
· - Demonstrated problem solving & project management skills
· - Advanced proficiency in Excel
Experience & Competency Preferences:
· - CCP and/or CEBS certifications
· - Knowledge of employee benefit contract language
· - Experience with third party providers
Compensation, Benefit & Relocation Package:
· $80-85,000 starting base salary dependent upon experience & a bonus plan
