Americold, the largest provider of temperature controlled distribution services in the US is seeking a Compensation Analyst to  join our team at the Corporate office in Atlanta, GA (Perimeter/Sandy Springs area). 
         

Primary Responsibility:

The Compensation Analyst plays a key role by providing analysis, evaluation and recommendations to the HR team and various business leaders to align compensation programs with business objectives. 

Essential Functions:  

• Collaborates with the Compensation Director on a variety of projects that include compensation program design, analysis and implementation of new programs
• Administers base pay and incentive programs to support business needs and objectives
• Assist in the development and execution of compensation processes and procedures to streamline initiatives including annual reviews, job evaluations, annual merit cycle, FLSA and compliance
• Works closely with the HRIS systems team to ensure consistency and accuracy with compensation programs and data in the HRIS system; ensures system meets compensation needs for salary grades, step progressions, Collective Bargaining Agreement wage scales, STI and any other programs
• Assists in the preparation of compensation analyses and presentations for the Board, Senior Management, Business Leaders and HR partners
• Participates in compensation surveys; conducts research and provides benchmarking on pay and programs for competitiveness
• Develops and documents all procedures related to compensation programs and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements
• Assists in education of managers and HR partners on compensation strategy, policies and practices
• Assist HR team with compensation related issues
• Serve as key point of contact for employee inquiries and external program vendors
• Other projects and duties as required
• Some travel may be required

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field or equivalent experience required
• Excellent analytical skills with ability to synthesize data and propose recommendations
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; with ability to communicate complex ideas/information related to compensation
• Ability to work with external vendors and identify issues to be escalated
• Flexible and proactive problem solver
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Experience managing multiple projects and initiatives
• Minimum three (3) years’ experience in progressive compensation experience required
• HRIS system experience preferred
