Responsibilities

Perform client-facing, consulting, and analytical leadership for WellStar Health System Compensation function to include needs assessment, planning, analysis, implementation, and administration of operations. Body of work also includes project leadership, SME level analytics, and program/process design of the Wellstar compensation program. Ensures compliance with federal and state regulations as well as System policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Required Minimum Education:

BS in Finance, Data Science, Business Administration/Human Resources or related degree required; MBA or Master’s preferred.


Required Minimum Experience:

Minimum of five (5) years of compensation planning, operations, and/or administration, involving business acumen, data analytics, and financial modelling. Mastery level proficiency in data
analytics and associated software and tools; SME level proficiency with process design, complemented by sound insights and data ‘story-telling’. Working knowledge of state and federal labor laws is also required. Background in healthcare a plus, but not required.

Required Minimum Skills:

Ability to communicate on all levels, listen effectively and gain the confidence of others. Market analysis, cost modeling, presentation skills. Computer/data entry experience. Ability to communicate with various members of the healthcare team. Ability to use EXCEL, Word and have basic computer operational knowledge. Epic and 3M experience preferred.
